I chose the L’occitane En Provence almond hand cream and In.Fused Coconut Body Scrub as nothing else really popped out at me. I’m not one for oils as my combination skin can react badly and I’m a red head so that rules out the blending wands, so not a great selection for me to chose from this month. The silky smooth Almond hand cream from L’Occitane has a lovely subtle smell of marzipan and sinks into skin effortlessly. The formula is not greasy and leaves hands feeling nourished and beautifully soft. I love having this by my bedside to pamper my hand morning and night, its safe to say this tiny tube won’t last me long at all! This is  my first L’Occitane products and so far I’m really impressed.

My second choice was the In.Fused Coconut Body Scrub. I was expecting perhaps a white rock salt like texture to this scrub, instead the mixture resembled coffee – and smelled like it too! The scrub contains a natural blend of coconut flakes, oil, Robusta Seed Coffee and brown sugar to target stretch marks, psoriasis and eczema. The natural scrub also promises to eliminate dead skin cells and detoxify the skin. So I dampened my skin, like instructed, and applied enough to cover my whole body, and I still have lots left in this very generously sized sample! I then massaged into skin (be prepared for a lot of mess!) and left for 10 minutes, then rinsed the scrub off. My skin definitely felt a lot softer afterwards but I’ll have to use this for a few more weeks to comment on its effectiveness on my stretchmarks. I love the smell of the scrub, it reminds me of walking into Starbucks, this is a really interesting product and I’ll post back with it’s more long term effects in the next few weeks. Little extras this month also included a sample of bareMinerals bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation (SPF 20) in Bare Nude and a miniature box of Lindt’s Lindor milk chocolate truffles.
