Beauty | Benefit’s Roller Lash Mascara

I’ll keep this short and sweet as I’m a little late to jump on the bandwagon, and I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure you’ve already read hundreds of similar posts as Benefits Roller Lash seems to be the talk of the beauty blog world right now – and quite rightly so! As you probably already know Benefit is one of my all-time favourite beauty brands. BADgal Lash was the first premium beauty product I ever bought, my 16-year-old self was immediately drawn to the whimsical packaging and candy store inspired counter; some things never change!

My sample was a freebie included in March’s edition of ELLE magazine, and no I didn’t actually read the magazine but it does feature the lovely Keira Knightly so I may give it a peek later. So Roller Lash features the new ‘Hook ‘n’ Roll’ brush that’s designed to grab, separate, lift and curl and an instant setting formula that promises to hold for 12 hours. Unsurprisingly the bottle is beautiful with its rose gold lid and gorgeously girly font.

Roller Lash is inspired by retro hair curlers, hooking onto the lashes and coating them in their ‘instant curve setting’ formula eradicating the need for curlers. Roller Lash gives a lovely wide-eyed look and a very pretty curl reminiscent of a 50’s pin-up which incredibly long-lasting.

The tiny hooks grab the lashes right from the root, a little wiggle from the base of the lashes and a few gentle strokes give instant curl and gloss catching every lash. I do love this look but I have to admit I never buy curling mascaras as I prefer more volume, that’s just my preference but this is a very welcome addition to my collection as it adds instant glamour to my look. Roller Lash is perfect for those looking for a long lasting flirty curl. Roller Lash retails for £19.50 and is available from
