With so many monthly subscription beauty boxes on the market right now, it can be difficult choosing the right one for you. Here’s a little guide featuring some of the best selling boxes available, but be warned subscribing can become very addictive! I’ve had to cancel a few as I got a bit carried away last month! These types of subscriptions are a great way to try new brands without having to invest in full sized products. There will be some months you won’t receive well known high street and premium brands but that’s what I love about these types of services, the mixture of smaller brands and companies you will be introduced to!
You Beauty Discovery (£6.95 + P&P included!) – At £6.95 (including postage & packaging) the You Beauty Discovery Box is my favourite, and cheapest, monthly treat. The You Beauty Box is different from others as on the 1st of every month you actually get to choose two products from their shortlist, plus it includes a few other extra samples. In the last couple of months, I have received full-sized bottles of Crabtree & Evelyn Nail Lacquer, Magnifibres mascara and an Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick worth £18.50!

My Little Box (£11 + £3.95 P&P) – This box has a different theme each month, their previous boxes have included collaborations with both Diane Von Furstenberg and blogging inspiration Fleur De Force. Each box includes must-have beauty products from brands such as L’occitane, Laura Mercier and Nuxe (including one from their own in-house beauty range, My Little Beauty), fashion and lifestyle accessories, the ‘My Little World’ magazine, illustrated goodies by Kanako and lots of other lovely surprises such as art work and craft materials.
Birchbox (£10 + £2.95 P&P) – I love my monthly Birchbox, it’s never disappointed me yet! Birchbox is a New York based company that launched in 2010 and now has a subscriber base of over 400,000. Once you subscribe you will receive 4-5 luxe beauty samples every month, carefully selected and tailored to your beauty profile. I went for the ‘Monthly Recurring Subscription’ at £10 plus £2.95 P&P per month, which can be canceled at anytime. All the samples inside their boxes are available in full-size to buy at birchbox.co.uk/shop. You can also complete surveys about the products which earn you points to put towards products in their eshop!
