So I’ve been nominated for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award by the lovely Sophie from How Soph Sees it. Thank you so much, I was thrilled to bits when I found out!
So here are my questions and answers –
1. Do you prefer snow or sand?
I love snow! I definitely prefer Winter to Summer. I’ll take hot chocolate, Christmas, candlelight and woolly scarves and hats over bikinis and flip flops anyday! It’s a good job I live in Scotland!
2. What is your favourite item in your wardrobe right now?
I seem to be all about wearing tartan right now. My two favorite pieces are my River Island Blanket Scarf and my New Look Tartan Cut-Out Heels.
3. Why did you start blogging?
At first I wanted a place where I
could share my Arts & Crafts ideas and then it grew from there! I started
to write about my love of beauty products and I began to share my thoughts and other lifestyle snippets – this is were my passion really started to
begin. Now there’s so many things I love about blogging; it’s so therapeutic to write
about something you love and build something you can be proud of. My blog
is my own little place online where I can write about what I want and talk
about what I want, and feel free from judgment. I love how there’s this
whole community of bloggers I was unaware of before that
support, challenge and accept each other.
4. What’s your favourite thing to do when the electricity goes out?
I love cosying up on the sofa with my dog, Alfie! There’s nothing better than candlelight, a good book and a huge bar of chocolate.
5. Do you prefer red lips, purple lips, or nude?
I’m getting alot more confident with my colours recently. I used to shy away from bolder lips but now I’m a huge fan of my new No 7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Sweet Copper.
6. What are your top 5 favourite movies?
Oo dear, just five? That’s a tricky one; Calamity Jane, Scarface, The Santa Clause, any Harry Potter movie and I have a slight obsession with Disney films too! Sorry cheated on that one a bit!
7. Do you have a pet peeve?
People talking in the cinema, using their phones or constantly rustling sweetie wrappers!
There’s nothing worse that sitting down to watch a good film and some inconsiderate person chatting through the whole thing!
8. What’s one item on your bucket list?
To visit New York at Christmas time.
9. What song from your childhood do you still know every word to?
Probably something really embarrassing like 5,6,7,8 by Steps or pretty much every Spice Girl song ever written.
10. What’s your dream adventure?
My dream adventure is happening next year! Not only am I getting married but for our honeymoon we are going to Florida and Antigua! I can’t wait to explore new places and create memories with my new hubby.
