November’s Beauty Wishlist

Happy November everybody! I’m writing this post as I stuff with my face with last nights leftover Halloween sweeties, with The Nightmare Before Christmas playing in the background, whilst being absolutely chuffed to bits that my No 7 25 Days of Beauty Calender has finally arrived! It contains a £130 worth of goodies including their high shine lip crayon and Intense Volume mascara. I’m really starting to feel festive now! With the big day only 53 days away it’s time to get a serious start on my Christmas shopping. Here’s a few beauty buys that caught my eye and will be on my Christmas list this year…

Ciate’s beautifully packaged ‘paint pots’ are at the top of my wish list as I was really impressed with the bottle I received in last months Pop Art Glossy Box. These stunning colours are perfect for the colder darker months and although I’d do love my Barry M Autumn/Winter Silk collection a girl can never have to many options, can she? These gorgeous shades are available from Look Fantastic for £9 each with free postage & packaging. Also look out for the Ciaté Tree Trinket Nail Varnish decorations which feature one of Ciate’s bestselling shades in a Christmas bauble perfect for adding a bit of glamour to your tree this year.

After my little Lush haul last week I am dying to try out a few more of their bestselling favourites such as Celestial (£12.50/45g), a lightweight facial moisturiser infused with almonds and dove orchids to help troubled dry skin by creating a barrier to help retain moisture throughout the day. After using the amazing Cupcake and Love Lettuce face masks I’m really looking forward to trying Catastrophe Cosmetic and Cosmetic Warrior (both £6.50/75g). Catastrophe is a calming and moisturising mask with blueberries, calamine and chamomile, rose and almond oils and Warrior is packed with tea tree and fresh garlic to cleanse and balance skin.

Whilst innocently looking for gift for the ladies in my life I stumbled across The Body Shop’s new Vanilla Brûlée range which includes body butter, shower gel, body polish, bath sprinkles, soap, hand cream, lip balm, gloss, home fragrance and bath jelly. I cannot put into words how delicious and sweet the scent of this desert-inspired limited-edition collection is! With The Body Shop having some amazing offers online during the buildup to Christmas this is a must buy for those who love warm vanilla aromas and luxurious bathing.

Available from Debenhams the Greatest Performer Christmas Gift Set (£20) is a great way for bareMineral newbies like myself to try their bestselling products. The set includes miniature versions of their Original Mineral Veil (0.75g), READY 2.0 Eyeshadow in The High Society (shade 1: Debutante, shade 2: Waltz) (1g each), Prime Time Foundation Primer (4.5ml), Loose Blush in Beauty (0.57g), Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss in Rebel (2.25ml) and a their infamous Lash Domination mascara (1.5ml). Smashbox have also released a Try It Kit featuring five of their best selling products, these are great ways to try out new products without spending a fortune on full sized versions. I hope more high-end beauty brands start doing this! This is just one in a whole range of BareMinerals Christmas gift sets now available at Debenhams.

Now I’m really just teasing you by adding
this to my list. I had been lusting over this limited edition Laura Mercier Sampling Box (£35) available exclusively at Selfridges for months now, and when
I finally went to purchase it I was heartbroken to realise it is now out of stock. The box contained the Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight 01, Lip Glace in Bare Baby, Cheek Colour Brush, Verbena Infusion Gel Body Moisture, Foundation
Primer, Tinted Moisturiser SPF 20 in Nude and Full Blown Volume Supreme Lash Building Mascara in Black all in a Laura Mercier cosmetics bag. I will keep checking to see if it comes back
in stock but I have a sinking feeling it has gone forever. Regardless the Laura
Mecier Foundation Primer will definitely feature on my Christmas list year as
will MAC’s lipstick in Vegas Volt (£15.50) and the Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes 5 Star Mascara – Glossy Black (£22).

Do any of these lovely products feature on your wish list this month?
